Small tattoos are often a first tattoo, and they get the same care as a full back piece. Fine line symbols, minimal script, tiny illustrations, matching pieces and single-session designs that mean something without taking over.
The one rule with small work is that detail has a floor. Ink spreads very slightly in the skin over the years, so a design crammed with detail at two centimetres will close up into a dark blob. We will tell you the smallest size your idea can be tattooed at and still look like itself in ten years, and suggest simplifying rather than shrinking.
Most small pieces are finished in a single short session, and walk-ins are sometimes possible by announcement — message us to check availability.
