Lettering is where a tattoo has to be exactly right. Names, dates, quotes and single words are drawn by hand for you in the studio in Bletchley, Milton Keynes — never typed out in a font — so the letters sit with the shape of the body and stay readable for years.
The range runs from flowing script and classic Old English numbers to sharp blackletter and free-form calligraphy that wraps a shoulder, a rib or a calf. Spacing and line weight are planned for the size you want, because lettering that is too small or too tightly packed is the first thing to blur with age.
