These terms apply to bookings with Hypnotic Art Tattoo Studio and to purchases from our online shop. Last updated: September 2026.

Tattoo and piercing bookings
- Age. You must be 18 or over to be tattooed, and you must bring photo ID. Under-18s cannot be tattooed, whatever the consent. Age rules for piercing are shown on our piercing price list.
- Deposit. We require a deposit to secure your booking. The deposit is non-refundable, because it secures the date for you and makes sure our artists are compensated if an appointment is missed. It is not lost: it is taken off the price of your tattoo, or can be used to book your next one.
- Changing or cancelling. Please give us as much notice as possible. In some cases we can reschedule, but we cannot guarantee it. If one of our artists cannot make your appointment, we will tell you as early as we can and rearrange.
- Price. Prices are estimates based on the design, size, colours, placement and the artist. Our daily rate is between £450 and £800. The final price is confirmed with you before work starts.
- On the day. You will be asked to complete a consent form. We may refuse or stop a procedure if we believe it is unsafe — for example if you are unwell or under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
- Aftercare. Healing depends on following the aftercare advice we give you. See our tattoo aftercare and piercing aftercare pages.
- Design. Designs we draw for you remain our artwork. You may of course wear the tattoo; please do not reproduce the drawing without asking.
Online shop
- Prices and payment. Prices are in pounds sterling and are shown at checkout before you pay. Your order is accepted when we send you an order confirmation email.
- Delivery. We deliver within the United Kingdom. Delivery options and costs are shown at checkout.
- Your right to cancel. For physical products you may cancel within 14 days of receiving them without giving a reason. Email hypnoticarttattoo@gmail.com to tell us, and return the goods within 14 days of doing so. We will refund the price and standard delivery within 14 days of receiving the goods back. You pay the cost of returning them unless they are faulty.
- Sealed skincare. For health and hygiene reasons, aftercare creams and butters cannot be returned once their seal has been broken, unless they are faulty.
- Faulty items. If anything arrives damaged or faulty, contact us and we will replace or refund it.
- Gift vouchers. Vouchers can be used towards a tattoo at the studio. They cannot be exchanged for cash.
- Deposits bought online are covered by the booking terms above.
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer, including under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
Liability
We will carry out every procedure with reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for problems caused by not following aftercare advice or by information that was withheld on the consent form. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.
