We want everyone to be able to use this website, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard only, magnification or voice control. Last updated: September 2026.
What we have done
- The site is built to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
- Every page can be used with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline and a “Skip to content” link.
- Images have text descriptions, and decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
- Text and buttons meet contrast requirements, and pages reflow on small screens and at 200% zoom without sideways scrolling.
- Buttons and links are at least 44 pixels high on phones.
- Animations are reduced for anyone who has turned on “reduce motion” on their device.
- Forms have labels and tell you which fields are required.
- Videos and maps from other websites only load when you choose to open them.
Known limitations
- Some older blog articles were written before this site was rebuilt and may have less descriptive image text.
- Videos from YouTube are provided by YouTube and their captions depend on the original upload.
