I acknowledge by signing this agreement that I have been given the full opportunity to ask any questions which I might have about obtaining a tattoo/piercing and that all of my questions have been answered to my satisfaction.
I acknowledge that it is not reasonably possible to determine whether I might have an allergic reaction to the pigments, jewellery or the process used in my tattoo/piercing and I agree to accept that such risk is possible. I acknowledge that there may be a risk associated with the ink products used in tattooing and that such ink products may contain substances that are harmful to my health. Where there is no history of any allergic reaction, we still advise spot testing of tattoo ink.
I understand that discrepancies in colour between the final design and final tattoo can occur due to skin types and aftercare of the tattoo.
I declare I give my full consent to the tattoo/piercing being carried out by the aforementioned practitioner. I confirm that potential complications e.g. Infection and swelling for the procedure undertaken, and aftercare instructions have been explained to me. More detailed information will be given to me either verbally or in writing at the end of procedure and I agree that it is my responsibility to follow the instructions on it until the tattoo / piercing has healed.
I acknowledge that infection is always possible as a result of obtaining a tattoo or piercing, particularly in the event that I do not take the proper care of my tattoo / piercing and I agree to follow all instructions concerning the proper care of my tattoo / piercing while it heals.
I confirm that the above information provided by me for this consent form is correct to the best of my knowledge, that I am of the age of consent for this procedure (18 years of age or over to be tattooed or pierced) and I am NOT currently under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

How to care for a new tattoo with help of ThInk Tattoo Aftercare cream:
If your tattoo has been wrapped in cling film do not leave it longer than 2-3hrs, your tattoo needs to breath.
Once you remove the cling film use gentle liquid anti-bacterial soap, wash well but efficiently, avoid new tattoo to remain under water for too long. Gently pat the tattoo dry (don’t rub it) with a paper towel, do not apply any ointment during first 48hrs. After this time let the tattoo air out for 20-30 minutes after it has been washed before applying ThInk tattoo aftercare cream.
Ideally from the 3rd day onwards you should apply cream once daily but if the skin gets tight and discomfort remains, apply cream once in the morning and then again in the evening. First wash your hands, then let small amount of cream warm up in your hand and finally gently pat it into your skin, avoiding any force in spreading the ointment. Don’t suffocate your tattoo with too much cream.
Use cream for at least 1 week. During the healing process the tattoo scabs and will peel and flake. The scab will fall off on its own, don’t fiddle with it. Scratching and peeling the scab off might cause some of the pigment to disappear, it also welcomes bacteria. Once the scabbing is over, continue using ThInk aftercare cream once daily, you might want to swap to ThInk tattoo butter.
The above method does not apply if your tattoo was covered with Second Skin film. Second Skin can remain on the new tattoo ideally 5 days, max 7 days. Use ThInk tattoo aftercare cream once daily after the Second Skin is removed.
ALWAYS contact your tattoo artist first if you are in doubt about the healing process and have follow up questions.
The best way to collaborate with your tattoo artist is honesty.
There are no ideas too big, too small, too crazy or not crazy enough. Some people know exactly what they want their tattoo to be, others aren’t sure. There is also a group of spontaneous souls that act on a feeling. We welcome you all with open arms.
Ideally it is worth to ponder a lot of the potential tattoo designs before setting up an appointment. Even if the outcome is “I still don’t know…”
Tell us about the idea you’re picturing, if it doesn’t have shape yet, we will work on it. If there are drawings and pictures that help you visualize your design, bring it along with you.
It isn’t a good idea to ask the artist to directly copy someone else’s tattoo. No respected artist will do that. However, designs that already exist might help with creating your own design. Also, the exception applies when it comes to motifs from pop culture or famous people's portraiture, etc.
Speak up, don’t be afraid to tell us what you want.
Demanding small changes over and over will spoil the atmosphere. Be confident over what you want but don’t be a pest.
Trust your artist, and their skills.
Regardless of how you come to the idea of your desired tattoo, be prepared to spend some time having conversation with your artist; negotiations are absolutely allowed and equally enjoyed in our studio. Remain open minded. If we are positive something cannot be done, we will tell you.
The creative process requires trust and respect on both sides.
